What’s a Podcast?

A podcast is a digital audio file made available on the internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device. It’s usually available as a series, new instalments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.

Why Are Podcasts Good?

Podcasts are really handy. It means you can listen to our services anywhere – in your car, in the kitchen, while you’re out walking or exercising.

We make all of our weekly sermons (both midday and evening) available as a podcast so you can listen to them on your phone, your computer, tablet or smart device (Google Hub, Alexa, etc.).

Every episode is labelled so that you can follow a series – and we have series going back two years. That’s around 130 episodes, all categorised by series.

So, for example, if you wanted to go back and listen to the Biblefresh series from the start (highly recommended by the way), no problem. Or you missed one of the Doctor On Call sermons, it’s available too.

Podcasts are also great for sharing our sermons with other people who don’t go to Union Road,
