SUMMARY:Pause for Prayer @ Lecumpher
DESCRIPTION:Pause for Prayer alternates monthly between the two churches. The format is praise\, Bible teaching and then prayer. \nFrom the earliest moments of the church in the New Testament\, God’s people have relied on prayer\, to give expression to their praise and their needs before their Father in heaven. \nAs a leadership in Union Road we regard prayer as fundamental to displaying our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. In prayer we come to demonstrate our weakness and Christ’s strength and our utter dependence on God. \nTherefore\, we pause for prayer on Thursday nights (all year round). We meet at 8pm and take time to pray for issues across our church\, in our community\, throughout Ireland and across the world. We share regular updates on pastoral concerns and also our growing number of mission interests. These times together are always very precious and draw us closer together as well as nearer to our Saviour. \nIn January\, March\, May\, July\, September and November we meet in Union Road. \nIn February\, April\, June\, August\, October and December we meet in Lecumpher.
