Solid Rock Youth Club runs every Friday from September to April for secondary school aged young people. It starts at 8pm and runs to 10.15pm. We would love to see you there and bring along friends.
Our mission statement as a group of leaders is to “Serve the young people of the Mid-Ulster area by showing Gods love and sharing His truth.”
Each night at youth club we have sports in the hall, Xbox, table tennis, pool, as well at ‘The Attic’ for 5th years and above and ‘The HippieshakeCafé’ for 1st-4th years to hang out with their friends. Why not come along and try one of our famous ‘Hippieshakes’ for £1, with all the profits going to one of our two charities; Health and Hope (a charity in Burma,) and CompassionUK (to Jennifer, our sponsored child who lives in Uganda!) Each night we also have an epilogue, where someone shares from the Bible, and explains why Gods word is still vitally important and relevant for us today in 21st century Northern Ireland; this year our theme has been value. Throughout the year we hold 4 special youth club nights, one at each holiday time, where we do something a little bit different, some examples of nights we have recently held are a neon dodgeballtournament, an indoor crazy golf and a board game café!!
